Karrie Roberts

My name is Rev. Karrie Roberts, I am a Marriage and Family Therapy Student Intern at Grace River Christian Counseling. I am currently pursuing a master’s degree in clinical Mental Health Counseling at Mid America Christian University. As an ordained minister and a former youth pastor, I have encountered numerous families experiencing a variety of struggles. This inspired me to seek deeper ways to assist them, prompting my return to school to study marriage and family therapy. I am eager to see what God has planned as I continue to learn more about this field at Grace River. My work is consistently overseen and evaluated by Megan Cross, LMFT, to ensure the highest standard of care for my clients. 

Approach to Therapy: My therapeutic approach is grounded in evidence–based practices, incorporating principles from systemic and relational therapy, as well as Internal Family Systems. I am committed to creating a safe, non–judgmental space where clients feel seen and heard. I welcome individuals, couples, and families of all ages, offering support through tailored interventions that address the unique dynamics of each client’s internal system and relationships.
