Amanda Serna

Having worked in mental health since 2015, I have had the privilege of working with many different people from a variety of walks of life. From young children to adults reaching retirement, the stages of life bring their own joys and challenges. One of the things I love most about working in this capacity, is the perspective it provides in understanding these various stages and the fact that mental health is a vital component for all people. My experience with children includes the public school setting and traditional office setting for both one-on-one interventions as well as family. My experience with adolescents, teens and adults has also been provided in the office setting and group setting (addiction focus). Currently I offer individual counseling to women, children and families utilizing professional training and expertise in these areas of focus: anxiety, depression, trauma-informed care, grief, cognitive-behavior therapy, Neurofeedback, addiction. I am also a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors and am able to provide faith-based interventions at the client’s request.
