Erica Mencha

My name is Erica Menchaca. I am a graduate from University of Kentucky with a Master’s degree in Social Work with a Clinical Certificate. I hold an Associate’s degree in Psychology and a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work. I am very passionate about leading worship and writing music. My husband and I have three dogs and love to take them hiking.

I utilize evidence-based practices, from a faith-based foundation. I believe that scripture is living and healing. However, if a client would like to leave faith and spirituality out of sessions, that is respected. I love to incorporate art therapy and music therapy methods into sessions.  I offer group work as well.

I began my professional career as a Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Specialist where I was given the opportunity to empower clients through court and exam advocacy, private sessions, crisis intervention, and community presentations. Other related experience includes eight years of ministry leadership in worship, production, and small groups.

I want to meet every client where they are. When a client walks into a session, my hope is that the love and peace of Christ is evident.
