Rick Short

Rick Short, MRE, is a Certified Sex Addiction Specialist, a Pastoral Counselor, and ordained minister in the state of Oklahoma. Rick has over 30 years experience as a Drug and Alcohol Counselor. Rick is the founder of Grace River, where he has faithfully served as counselor and Clinical Director since 2006.

Rick graduated from Nazarene Theological Seminary in 1974 with a degree in religious education and was ordained in 1976. He is a charter member of the National Association of Christian Counselors. He has practiced as a marriage and family counselor for over 40 years in Missouri, Indiana, and Oklahoma. His work has included both pastoral and lay families.

Rick maintains a practice with a primary emphasis on individuals or families affected by a crisis in their life/marriage such as sex addiction, substance abuse, or partner problems following marital infidelity.
